1. How do I refer people to the BodyworkBiz site?
When you sign up as an affiliate, you will be given a special affiliate code (a website address) that you will send people to. We'll provide you with a variety of banners, buttons, and text links that you can use on your website or in your email. We'll provide the HTML to insert in your pages or you can set up the links yourself using your affiliate code.

2. How do I know how many visitors I've sent and how many have bought stuff?
Once you sign up for the affiliate program, you'll receive access to a password protected web page with these statistics. You'll see how many visits have been made to our site as a result of your links, how many are unique visitors (vs. repeat visitors), as well as the number of sales and your commission amount for those sales. (Note: All reporting is done in $US.)

3. What if they don't buy the first time they visit?
No problem. The visitor is identified as coming from you. So anytime they make a purchase, even if it's six months later, you'll still get rewarded for the sale.

4. How do you track all this stuff?
This is all automated. Visitors are tracked with the use of "cookies". This is the most common and most reliable way of ensuring you get properly rewarded for your referrals. These are just little identifiers that are placed on a visitor's computer. When someone buys something from our site, our shopping cart software looks for your cookie on the person's computer. If it's there, you are credited with the sale.

5. What happens if someone deletes their cookies?
Occasionally, someone may delete the cookies on their computer. There's really nothing we can do to prevent this from happening. Fortunately, most people do not do this and cookie tracking is still the most efficient method of tracking affiliate sales.

6. Can I find out who is buying?
For privacy reasons, you will only get visit and sales totals. You will not have information that identifies individual buyers in any way.

7. How much do I get paid?
Affiliates will receive 25% of almost every sale that is made through their referral. For a US$99 course, for example, you will make US$24.75. Currently, the printed promotional materials are excluded from the affiliate program because these materials have negligible profit margins and are more of a customer service for our visitors. Future programs and resources will be added to the program at our discretion.

8. How do I get paid?
We send out checks in $US on the 15th of every month for the previous months commissions. We'll send this to the address you gave us when you signed up. Your commission total has to be a minimum of $50 before we send out a check. If it's under $50, we'll just roll your commission forward into the next month for you.
We will soon be making all payments through PayPal only. If you do not yet have a free PayPal account, you can get one at www.paypal.com.

9. Any suggestions on how I can best promote your site?
We have lots of ideas and as an affiliate we'll send you regular emails to help you get the most out of the program. After all, the more successful you are, the more successful we are. Log into the Resource Center at www.bodyworkbiz.com/courses and go to the BodyworkBiz Affiliate Resource area. Click on the "Affiliate University" link to find all sorts of great info and resources to help you promote BodyworkBiz in a way that will maximize your sales.

10. Can anyone sign up?
Anyone can sign up for the affiliate program. However, the people who will benefit most from this affiliate program are those with an existing relationship with massage or bodywork professions: Equipment or supply companies, massage schools, associations, workshop presenters, etc. - especially those who send email or newsletters on an ongoing basis. Although I don't want to discourage anyone from signing up, most individuals will not likely have enough of a network to benefit significantly from the program. We ask anyone who signs up to promote BodyworkBiz in an honest and ethical way. We do not tolerate any affiliates who use spam or those who make misleading claims about our programs. You'll be cut from the program if you're caught doing this. (See the Terms and Conditions for details.)

12. Will I make commissions if I promote BodyworkBiz offline?
You can as long as people reach our site through your affiliate link. As part of your affiliate training, we'll outline ways for you to promote BodyworkBiz offline in an effective way and get rewarded for doing so.

13. What's involved in the sign-up process?
Not much really. Click here to go to the sign up form. Just fill in a valid email address, create a user name and password, and provide us with an address where we can send your check.
You'll then receive a couple of emails from us. First we need to confirm that you have a valid email address, so you'll get a confirmation email. You must click on the confirmation link in that email to become an affiliate.

14. Can individuals sign up for the program?
Anyone is welcome to join the program, however, there are certain individuals and groups that are more likely to benefit because they communicate with a larger number of massage and bodywork professionals. These include:

15. I'm an affiliate. Where do I log in to get links and see my stats?
If you haven't done so already, sign up for free access to the BodyworkBiz Resource Center with the email address you used for your affiliate sign up. This is a "one stop login" for everything related to BodyworkBiz. You'll see the affiliate login button in the BodyworkBiz Affiliate Resource Area. You'll be able to view stats, get banners and links and will also be able to access the Affiliate University from this page.
